Product Overview
KOJIC ACID DIPALMITATE
Kojic Acid Dipalmitate is a derivative of Kojic Acid, it is a potent skin lightener that is often used as a substitute for Kojic Acid due to its ability to remain stable under difficult conditions. It is a slightly more mature product and takes longer to manufacture than generic Kojic Acid.
This particular skin lightening ingredient has been around for decades and can be very easily incorporated into a DIY skin lightening cream. It remains stable under a wide pH range (between 4-7).
Compatibility
Kojic Acid Dipalmitate is compatible with Sepi White, Giga White, Alpha Arbutin, and Kojic Acid. You may need to avoid mixing it directly with Vitamin C to avoid possible irritation.
Kojic Acid, like Alpha Arbutin does not have any known side effects, and is generally safe for most people. However, this product is not intended for internal use. Do not add the powder to products containing lactic acid, or AHAs as this can affect the pH balance of the lotion. If redness, itching, or irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
